Since July 1, we have had reinforcements. With Markus Hartmann, the office is again staffed with two people after three years. We are very pleased that we can support innovations, innovators and operational groups in Schleswig-Holstein with fresh energy and further expand our EIP network. A warm welcome!
Markus Hartmann
My name is Markus Hartmann and since July I have been supporting the Innovation Office at the Schleswig-Holstein Chamber of Agriculture in Rendsburg. I grew up on the family farm with the branches of pig fattening and arable farming on the coastline of the district of Plön in Schleswig-Holstein, where I have been involved - naturally - since early childhood. After graduating from high school and doing internships in Germany and abroad, I began studying history and political science at the Christian-Albrechts University in Kiel. After a stopover at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, I graduated with the Master of Arts in the summer of 2022. During my studies, I was able to gain diverse insights into agricultural practice as well as politics and administration through numerous jobs and further internships. Most recently, I was involved in project work on a digital project in the field of cultural history. Though I have never lost my connection to agriculture. That's why it's also a personal matter to be able to help shape the future of agriculture in Schleswig-Holstein at the Innovation Office. Outside of work, I enjoy attending concerts or volunteering as a guide in a museum. I‘m looking forward to the new challenges and to meeting you personally.
